Local Network Operation (No Cloud Storage)

EQT is designed as a peer-to-peer (P2P) local network file transfer utility. All file transfers and communications between your devices occur strictly within your local area network (LAN). Your files and messages are transferred directly from one device to another and are never uploaded to any external servers, databases, or cloud environments.

Licensing & Device Fingerprinting

For activation of Plus licenses, EQT communicates with our serverless DRM API located at Cloudflare to verify license validity. This check transmits a non-reversible cryptographic hash of your hardware fingerprint to ensure license limits are respected. This data does not contain any personally identifiable information (PII) and is stored securely in our databases.
